Went here for my 1yr anniversary with my boyfriend, and it was amazing! The staff was so kind, food was FANTASTIC, the view was equally beautiful. Initially we had requested outside seating since the weather was going to be nice but it ended up being too bright/hot (anniversary is early July) so we asked to be switched inside and they were kind enough to accommodate that. I'd only make a suggestion to put some sort of shade for outside to protect from the heat/sun. The fact that they included a small card with a congrats and some scattered rose petals was a very nice surprise. It's really the little things that make a difference. It IS pricey (our bill came to around $300ish for the two of us) for sure and definitely special occasion only for us but it is well worth it. If you want your bill to be a bit lower, limit your drinks, lol. Our 2yr anniversary is coming up on July 9th and we've made reservations here again (not outside though!). Excited for another year with my partner and the delicious food!
We made reservations at Aerlume for an anniversary dinner. The whole process was very easy and swift. On the day, we were given a table overlooking the lake and loved the view. For appetizers we got the pea soup, the dungeness crab salad and the monthly special smoked salmon pasta. For the main and dessert we got the grilled halibut and the carrot cake with pistachio ice cream. The pea soup and the carrot cake were our favorites! Their staff is very helpful and friendly and made sure to check-in with us after each course. We loved the whole experience of dining at Aerlume and would recommend it especially for the views!
The Service is exceptional to match the breathtaking view of the lake. We were personally greeted by the Chef and given a great introduction to the menu of the day. My party was pleased with each item ordered and all appetizers shared. With that being said, you can't go wrong with your choice. All meats are tender, fish is fresh, and vegetarian items are delicious. Dessert- Banana pudding is topped with Raspberry sorbet and pecans. A totally different spin from southern nana pudding but really tasty and a nice DESSERT!
Conveniently located near Pike Place Market, this upscale restaurant boasts views, great drink and flavorful food. The servers were quite attentive and everyone pitched in to make sure we had an enjoyable evening. They pour a strong Old Fashioned, and as a vegetarian I had plenty of options. I would like to return for an earlier visit so I can enjoy more of the waterfront views during the daylight hours.
The drinks were all excellent, including the bartenders roulette. We also ordered the bread, which was quite tasty too. It's a pricier spot for the portion sizing but probably worth it for the service and ambiance for most. The servers were very attentive and helpful. They were also super speedy! The ambiance was really lovely and cozy. We sat at the fireplace table and still had a bit of a view of the bay. If you'd like to be seated next to the window you'd probably need a reservation which we did not. We loved our fireplace spot though! Very cozy!
I was on the hunt for tasty food and great food, that would allow me to relax as i enjoyed fresh seafood. This restaurant is definitely upscale, this is reflected theough the decor , customer service, menu items and plating. I really enjoyed the restaurant and the service that was provided.
Really fantastic meal from start to finish... the waterfront views are phenomenal - we were in the main restaurant but could still see the water and views. Service was outstanding, apps delicious, mains delightful, dessert heavenly. It's an expensive night but very nice experience!
Came for a private reception evening for ~ 50 of my son's and soon to be wife's best friends. Views and ambience are first rate!! Service was first rate, waiters were prompt and great with drinks and refill of the food. Appetizer were amazing!!! Highlife recommended
Wow, wow, wow. The view, the staff, the food, cannot say enough about this place! Ambiance (10/10) - PRIME Seattle real estate. Beautiful views that you can see all throughout the restaurant. Staff (10/10) - Super friendly, offer great recommendations, and anyone is willing to help! Our order: - Citrus Marinated Beets - Really tasty! Every bite was crisp and earthy. - Bread & Butter - Honestly, the bread is kinda like cake, which I am not mad about! Seriously delicious with a creamy butter spread. - Tandoori Fried Chicken - DELICIOUS! I would recommend this to everyone! Only wish there was more sauce to go around! - Broccolini - Perfectly cooked and a decent sized portion. If you're looking for Seattle with a view, snag a reservation at Aerlume!
